"Cytoflow" SOLO ART SHOW (February 2001)
"For Cytoflow, I created an installation of kudzu and wisteria vines, from one-half to two inches in diameter. I harvested the vines, hauled them with my truck to Bluemilk Paradigm Artspace, and anchored them to variously shaped thicker vine pieces, which hung from the ceiling. It was an enormous amount of work. After they were up, I went into the gallery and painted stripes and dots on them. I was busy doing this until the night before the opening. I created a forest of vines for visitors to walk through. My paintings were on the walls."
